About The Game
What is 10x10?
10x10 is a captivating puzzle game that challenges your spatial awareness. The name refers to the 10x10 grid that serves as your playing field. Unlike other puzzle games, there is no time limit, allowing you to think carefully about every move. It’s a perfect blend of strategy and fun, ideal for a relaxing yet mentally stimulating break.
How to Play
- Drag and Drop: You are given three different block pieces at a time. Click and drag a piece from the bottom tray onto the 10x10 grid.
- Fill the Lines: The objective is to create and clear full lines on the board, either horizontally or vertically.
- No Rotations: The pieces cannot be rotated, so you must plan your placements carefully to fit them in their given orientation.
- Get New Pieces: Once you have placed all three pieces, a new set of three will appear.
How to Win
Technically, there is no "winning" in 10x10, as the goal is to achieve the highest score possible. The game ends when there are no valid moves left on the board for any of the three available pieces. To get a high score:
- Clear Lines: You score points for every block you place, with a large bonus for every line you clear.
- Make Combos: Clearing multiple lines with a single piece grants a significant combo score bonus.
- Think Ahead: Always consider how your current placements will affect future moves. Try not to create single empty cells that are hard to fill later.
